VISION

To be the national credentialing body for psychologists providing health services.

CRHSPP has been organized as a non-profit corporation for the purpose of credentialing health service providers in psychology meeting high educational and training standards set by the Register consistent with standards of practice for the profession. The Canadian Register also promotes professional standards by encouraging and delivering information and knowledge transfer, including various means of continuing education and research.

1. To identify health service providers in psychology who meet educational and training standards set by the Board.
2. To publish registers of health service psychologists to assist health service organizations, third party payers, the general public and such other persons or groups as may be appropriate.
3. To promote the public's access to qualified psychologists.
4. To be a resource for providing timely and useful information, products and services to health service psychologists.
5. To encourage, promote, and provide programs of continuing education related to psychological health services.
6. To conduct or support research related to psychological health services.
7. To maintain relations with appropriate provincial, territorial, national, and international psychological organizations.
